Holiday camps

We offer holiday camps during the major school holidays at Christmas, Easter and Summer. We offer these in SPanish in 2 locations at Framwellgate Moor Scout Hut and East Rainton Primary School. We offer 3 time slots to suit parents' needs - 8.30am-4.30pm, 9am-3pm and 10am-2pm. Our camps have a mixture of language learning activities and other activities to keep children entertained throughout the day. We cover a different topic every day with all our tasks themed around it. All children need is appropriate clothing and footwear (we spend some of the day outside), suncream in the warmer months, a water bottle and packed lunch everything else is provided.

A typical day looks like this:-

8.30-8.45 - Arrivals

8.45-9.15 - Games and second group of arrivals

9.15-9.45 - Let's Move (our active start to the day)

9.45-10.15 - Workbook activities such as colouring and puzzles, third group of arrivals and getting to know you games

10.15-10.45 - Session one of language learning with songs, games, words and more.

10.45-11.00 - Morning snack (provided)

11.00-11.30 - Craft time

11.30-12.00 - Outdoor playtime

12.00-12.30 - Lunch time (Children need a packed lunch)

12.30-13.00 - Session two of language learning with songs, games, words and more.

13.00-13.30 - Craft time
